Once upon a time in a land far far away there was a child born into this world who had the amazing precognitive ability of foretelling things to come.

I never liked that kid, and neither should you because he was a complete twat and smelled like old rubber bands.

I, on the other hand, grew up in suburban Sydney and with the help of the rest of the GI team, managed to put together a kick arse site and you should like it cuz its kewl! (take that future boy!)

Enjoy Gamerz Ink everyone.

On a cold March day back in 1983, a child was born with a joystick in his hand. From that day forward, Von knew what he was sent here to do, spread the word on the greatest past-time there is, Gaming. When he is not rallying the troops to produce awesome content for Gamerz Ink, you can find him lounging about in the Home Cinema Room(under construction), or at the gym working on obtaining that god-like physique.

Having tried his hand at film making and photography, Von also wants to one day fulfill one of his life-long dreams(and that of many others), to make the world's first GOOD video game motion picture. Yeah right...

Born and raised in tropical New Zealand, Ants sharpened his teeth playing Roland in Time on his trusty Amstrad. Whenever a new console or title was released, he would always be there to do what a good gamer does, play the hell out of the damn thing! Now residing in Sydney, this gaming legend is an Xbox360 wunderkind with a penchant for RTS and FPS. The most handsome of all Gamerz Ink's contributors, Ants makes life just that much more interesting for us all.

Wolf has been a gamer since the glory days of the SNES. Much money and many hours were spent sampling the delights of the arcade as well, such as Street Fighter 2 and Mortal Kombat...ah, those were the days. But he won't get too misty-eyed as there's plenty of fun to be had with contemporary consoles as well. At the moment he's a PS3 man(with a bit of PSP on the side). Around the Gamerz Ink headquarters you will catch him lazing by the pool while he waits for God of War 3, or getting up to all sorts of shenanigans, such as listening to metal or perhaps dungeon-mastering a round of DnD.

Born in 1979, this Methuselah of gaming was introduced to the joys of the joystick with the Atari 2600, to which he can proudly proclaim he owned a copy of the infamous E.T. cartridge. One of the original “hardcore” gamers and self-titled Geek God, Mike's not afraid to admit that he’s sunk over 1,000 hours into the Monster Hunter franchise, or that he got all his characters in Final Fantasy 7 to max level and max stats back when the game was first released. While RPGs & Adventure games are his first love, thanks to a healthy diet of Dungeons & Dragons growing up, he’ll play anything put in front of him... if it’s worth playing.

When he’s not busy hunting down Rathalos, trying to get his body back in Demon’s Souls, or simply going through Planescape: Torment for the millionth time, Mike can usually be found on his computer researching which game he should import next, listening to the newest tracks by Mastodon or Aesop Rock, or sleeping on the couch because his missus found out just how much the last import cost.

Kyle has been the definitive answer to the noob threat since he first picked up the SNES controller at the age of 7. Soon finding the feeble A.I. of single player was no longer a challenge he immediately sought something greater in the multiplayer arena of Counter-Strike Source. It was here that Kyle discovered his love for multiplayer gaming, finding no greater satisfaction than pulling off headshot on a fellow gamer.

Now days Kyle spends his time with one sole purpose... to play as many videogames as humanly (and financially) possible and to bring news of these amazing adventures to GamerzInk. In RL (real life), this self-confessed genius/nerd/videogaming beast can be found hanging out with mates, watching a sci-fi/action movie or listening to some smooth electronic beats. He hopes to make it big in the gaming industry one day, but until then will be attending Uni, once he decides what to do that is.

Old School, Retro Gamer, Classic. This would describe Dane as a gamer, aka “Old Man”. He prefers something simple and casual enough to enjoy in short sessions. Often becoming confused and over whelmed by todays “3D” games, Dane would much prefer to kick back and thrash some Final Fight, Raiden or Metal Slug. These where the days when a Control Pad was a Control Pad and not a god damn 10 in 1 Remote Control. “A” and “B” is all thats necessary! It should come as no surprise that Dane mainly reviews Xbox Live Arcade titles. Both nostalgia and value for your buck is important to his buying decisions.

He claims that the NES is the best console of all time with the SNES close behind. Today, his favourite console would be Xbox because of its wicked online service and (with a big grin) the Apple iPhone. Yeh, Yeh, maybe it’s not classified a full gaming system yet but he’s betting that Apple will be in the gaming arena wearing some mighty big gloves, very soon...

Of all the poorly fashioned things to come out of the 80’s, three come to Jared’s mind, the hairdo, the NES and of course… himself. Appearances can be deceiving, having picked up the controller before learning to ride a bike; he instead learnt the sport of 'pwning'.

A well manufactured gamer from a young age, boasting a various range of consoles and even failed relationships with the engulfing world of MMO’s. The time has come to get back to the roots of gaming, away from the online grind. Some have said the 80’s are coming back. Be afraid... Outside the world of console gaming and inside the world of “RL” - You’ll find Jared muttering the word ‘noob’ under his breath towards people who can’t comprehend, listening to metal, sinking beers or working with design.

Hoping to fuse two hobbies into one profession, writing and gaming, much more difficult feats have been achieved, such as beating Ninja Gaiden on the NES. Games seem easier these days, or maybe the developers are just... noobs? For Jared, that question is always interesting to answer.
