Borderlands will be receiving some brand new DLC soon, which has you blasting away at mindless flesh-eating zombies on an island is set to release this year so we can be rest assured those of us who have already finished Borderlands will have something extra to use all our overpowered Smg’s and Bloodwings on.
Having recently reached the 1000 gamerscore mark in Borderlands myself, this is welcome news, with more shooter RPG action on the way (Just thinking of the loot makes me happy). Here’s the official word from Gearbox on what exactly is in the DLC:
"Tasked with keeping the workers of Jakobs Cove alive, Dr. Ned... does his job a little too well, creating zombies and other abominations that now run rampant in this region," 2K explains, describing it as a "full-fledged expansion." The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned will bring "new enemies, new quests and rare loot drops" for $10 (800 Microsoft Points).
Did you say... loot? In any case you guys better hurry to pick up this DLC when it comes out, before Kesalin whores all the shotgun loot, or goes into Berserk Mode and starts yelling (in-game). For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about, what is wrong with you? Go buy the game!
