![]() Given the inclusion of The Fate of Atlantis with the new Indy game for the Wii, and the upcoming remake of The Secret of Monkey Island, you would be forgiven for thinking Lucasarts is jumping on the remake bandwagon and giving all their classic adventure games a jumpstart. There is only one catch to this presumption becoming a reality, the upcoming title The Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition has to sell well, really well. More after the break.

These were some of the best adventures in gaming history. Monkey island is always at the top of the 100 best games of all time lists. And there is good reason for it. This game was incredible. Even the little puzzles to get into the original monkey games where awesome. I think it was monkey 2 where you had to spin around some crazy Indiana like dial matching up crazy symbols to load the game, they didn't have any serial keys! If you love a great story, witty humour and of course treasure hunting, get, this, game. Hopefully they do full throttle next, well after monkey 2 anyway. What HD classic adventures are you guys hanging out for?

Full Throttle had a profound affect on me as a youngster. I keep trying to download it but with old sierra games its like the net is conspiring against you!

It would be great to see the adventure game make a bit of a resurgence. I will take a good point and click over a BS GTA rip-off anyday.
